Proclamation No. 51/1996

Office for the Sale of Government-Owned Houses Establishment (Amendment)

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to further amend the Office for the Sale of Government-Owned Houses Establishment Proclamation;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

1. Short Title

This Proclamation may be cited as the “Office for the Sale of Government-Owned Houses Establishment (Amendment) Proclamation No. 51/1996.”

2. Amendment

The Office for the Sale of Government-Owned Houses Establishment Proclamation No. 112/1995 (as amended) is further amended as follows:

  1. The following new sub-Article (5) is added after sub- Article (4) of Article 9:

    “5) approve the organizational structure of the Office and directives on its staff regulation prepared in line with the basic principles of federal civil service laws,”

  2. The former sub-Articles (5) and (6) of Article 9 are re- numbered as sub-Articles (6) and (7), respectively.

  3. The phrase “in accordance with the public service laws” appearing in sub-Article (2) (c) of Article 11 is deleted and replaced by the phrase “in accordance with directives approved by the Board”

3. Effective Date

This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the 5th day of December, 1996.
